This is my son Joshua, he is 10 years old soon to be 11 and is in the 4th grade. He is an in-Utero stroke survivor.. officially diagnosed at the age of 18 months. Received his first pair of AFO's before he was 2 years old. What happened to them to this day, we'll never know - he hated them so much he either threw in trash without us realizing or, he had a bad habit of rolling down the windows, and threw them out the car 😂.
From the numerous Botox injections without anesthesia to casting ...to numerous Botox injections with anesthesia ... both circumstances he has been a fighter and has been his whole life. He is the youngest of 4 kids and out of all the siblings he is the one strives to do the most and doesn’t allow his disability to hold him back. He does have right side weakness and he considers his left hand the “right” hand because it works and I remind him that that’s why he is the overachiever in everything he attempts and he will continue to over accomplish everything he does and wants to in life.
